Tasting notes
Taster   Dave Broom
Nose: Soft and sweet. Coconut/lactone, melting chocolate but then an energetic burst of kumquat zest, powdered nutmeg, sultana, dried peach and more mature weight than the age would suggest.
Palate: Gentle. Raspberry and Galia melon, fruit salad and cinnamon. The oak is poised and balanced with notes of cappuccino. Fresher with water.
Finish: Fruity, soft, balanced.
Comment: Precocious. A fantastic 10yo and marked accordingly.
8.4
Taster   Martine Nouet
Nose: Light, sweet. Nougat, lemon meringue pie. Cooked apple.
Palate: Very smooth. Oily, almost syrupy. Sweet dessert-like flavours. Applecrumble. Oak is well integrated
Finish: Dry, slightly bitter.
Comment: A decent malt. Well balanced.
