Tasting notes

Taster Lyndsey Gray

Nose: Pollen and heather honey, with fresh fruits peeking through. White grape skin, cranberries, ripe pears and banana ice cream. Hints of pine wood shavings.
Palate: Heather honey, sugared melon and peppermint tea leaves create a juicy texture with foam sweets, dried apricots, raisins and passionfruit jelly.
Finish: Light and to the point.
Comment: An uplifting and juicy whisky that keeps you salivating for more.

Taster Rob Allanson

Nose: Vanilla and roasted nuts hit off at first. Honey roast peanuts, then a slight sour note, reminiscent of dark rye bread and goat’s cheese.
Palate: Thick and coating, as viscous as olive oil. Salted caramel ice cream follows on then it all sweetens up with honey and vanilla granola. Sliced almonds.
Finish: Lingers on a little, with shades of vanilla custard then begins to dry gently.
Comment: An interesting whisky, with plenty going on.
