Tasting notes
Taster   Michael Jackson
Nose: Warm, sweet, malty. Then clean, soft, peatiness. Inviting.
Palate: Quite big and syrupy. Juicy maltiness. Suggestion of soft liquorice.
Finish: Spicy. Smoothly warming.
Comment: Simple and straight forward but well composed and enjoyable. A reliable, solid, malt. I always enjoy it.
7.5
Taster   Dave Broom
Nose: Initially seems young and slightly agressive. Water brings out some honey, soft fruits, light woodiness, charred sticks.
Palate: Rounded and quite sweet. Honey and fruit with some menthol. Crisps up as it stays in the mouth.
Finish: Tingling and peppery.
Comment: No great complexity, but pleasant.
