Tasting notes
Taster   Lyndsey Gray
Nose: Very floral and herbal with rose oil, crushed pomegranate. Crushed meringues, granny’s sherry trifle and just a little hint of paracetamol.
Palate: Wholemeal flour, paracetamol and red apple skin. Dried sage, pork crackling and salted butter begin to appear alongside porridge, nectar honey and nutmeg popcorn.
Finish: The herbal tones continue throughout with ginger-infused green tea dryness.
Comment: Floral, herbal, sweet, malty, fruity, dry, chalky, floral, herbal, sweet, malty… you get the idea…
8.6
Taster   Rob Allanson
Nose: Plum jam and medjool dates stuffed with a little goat’s cheese. Some distant and nutty marzipan, uncooked cake batter. A little boiled wool, iPod cases. A meaty edge with Sorrento ham and applewood cheese.
Palate: Cherry compote and thick vanilla custard. Those tannins start to start to build with a savoury edge too.
Finish: That savoury edge takes hold with liquorice sticks and those blue Liquorice Allsorts. Plenty of black tea tannins too.
Comment: A perfect autumnal drop for the winter months.
