Tasting notes

Taster Rob Allanson

Nose: Cream and cookies ice cream. High milk content chocolate with a littlepraline. Slight fruit hints.
Palate: Mellow and smooth. The malt comes through as does the chocolateenveloped by the oak.
Finish: A slow burner.
Comment: A good solid dram.

Taster Martine Nouet

Nose: Malty. Hazelnut toffee. Milk chocolate. A slight butyric note.
Palate: Smooth, satin-like. Oak is well integrated. The same profile as on thenose. Good balance.
Finish: Medium, fades quickly but gently.
Comment: Nothing wrong but surprisingly, nothing exciting. Because it isunidimensional maybe. You are expecting another aromatic layer andit does not come.
