Tasting notes
Taster   Rob Allanson
Nose: Honey, slightly orangey and citrussy. A little like a gobstopper sweet.
Palate: Sweet malt comes through with a little toffee. Those barley sugar sweets are here again.
Finish: Warming with ginger edges.
Comment: Well balanced and engaging.
7.8
Taster   Martine Nouet
Nose: Light, shy. Some sweet nearly sugary notes. Barley sugar, aniseed.
Palate: Round and smooth. Mouthcoating, oily. A well balanced malty sweetness teased by a good spicy development. Gets bolder. Barley sugar again.
Finish: Medium, drying on ginger.
Comment: Lovely texture. The nose is a bit shy, the palate more expressive. Very correct but not terribly exciting.
