Tasting notes
Taster   Neil Ridley
Nose: Wonderfully fragrant with waxy notes, linseed oil, nut shells, some earthiness/wet leaves, freshly rolled cigars and a touch of incense.
Palate: Laden with peppery richness; beautifully integrated oak, dark chocolate, dried fruit - but on top, a floral waxiness, that only comes with age and true maturity.
Finish: A toss up between herbal butter, milk chocolate, chopped nuts and wax.
Comment: Whisky of the month, by a slender margin. This is refined and just the right age. A good eye (and palate) put this beauty together.

Taster   Martine Nouet
Nose: Fruity. Citrussy. Juicy lemon. Sweet vanilla; lovely creaminess. Fresh and lively. Victoria plums. Lemon biscuits.
Palate: Creamy. Satin-like at first then getting crisp like raw silk. The same fruity profile as on the nose. Citrus fruit salad and also crystallised ginger.
Finish: Dry, spicy, citrusy.
Comment: A lovely dram. The perfect summer uplifting drink to share with friends.
