Tasting notes
Taster   Joe Bates
Nose: Sherry bodega aromas instantly hit the nose, but also inhale those lovely scents ripe fruits, apricots and peaches.
Palate: Intensely fresh and fruity on the palate: raspberry jam, chocolate and Black Forest gâteau.
Finish: A wonderfully fruity and lingering finish that you have to have time to enjoy.
Comment: Delightfully, intense whisky that delights and surprises at every turn. It has real depth and character. A bottle of this wouldn’t last long in my house.
9.4
Taster   Gavin D. Smith
Nose: Sweet, with peaches, caramel and a resinous note.
Palate: Soft, with vanilla, ripe peaches and lively spices.
Finish: Lengthy and notably spicy, with black pepper and a hint of liquorice.
Comment: A little too aggressive in the finish for good overall balance.
