Tasting notes
Taster   Joel Harrison
Nose: The first aroma is of Victoria sponge cake, almonds and sweetened whipped cream. Somewhat the aroma of a WI cake stand at a village fete. As it settles in the glass, the raspberry jam notes become the most prominent.
Palate: Another whisky belittling its ABV, this is all cream soda, honey roasted almonds, cinnamon and pink grapefruit. There is a touch of green herbs too.
Finish: Cola cubes and black cherry.
Comment: Perfectly drinkable whisky, only the harshest of task masters would be disappointed with it.

Taster   Chris Goodrum
Nose: Aromas of toasted toffee and fragrant but a little high-toned barley. White fruit, chicory, malt biscuits and herbs follow. Slight feintiness in the background.
Palate: Like the nose the palate opens with the toasted toffee and hard barley. A little industrial with some malt and subtle herbal notes. The toffee becomes increasingly burnt in character and begins to dominate.
Finish: A little hot and tart with plenty of mineral notes and lingering barley.
Comment: It has its plus points and its minus points. I would avoid diluting it though!
