Tasting notes
Taster   Martine Nouet
Nose: Rich, nutty. Praline, hazelnuts, pistacios. Elegant. Taking you to the baking oven. Cooked pears in puffpastry. Hint of marmalade.
Palate: Oily,mouth-coating. Cooked fruit. Prunes soaked in spicy tea. Stem ginger. Roasted apple skin. Hotspices. Tabasco.
Finish: Warm,dry,spicy.
Comment: A refined aromatic profile. Certainly a worthwhile companion at any time. And certainly a rewarding drink at pudding time. Maltier when diluted.

Taster   Dave Broom
Nose: Highly concentrated. Wet leather, raspberry, ripe berry fruits, caramel. Shows maturity. Mealy with water.
Palate: Palate coating. Deep ripe fruitiness. Loses a little towards the finish and diminishes with water.
Finish: Soft,mature,fading.
Comment: A big initial impact then a slow gentle falling away.Worth a look.
