Tasting notes
Taster   Rob Allanson
Nose: Lovely fragrant and floral notes, a little dry leaf mulch, delicate coconut and milk chocolate, a blood orange tang, a dustiness, creamy macaroons.
Palate: Fresh citrus, crème patisserie, golden marmalade, crépe suzette, some rose water and chocolate shavings.
Finish: Quite dry with a herbal edge coming through at the end.
Comment: A lovely drop, well balanced, nicely integrated and intriguing.
Taster   Martine Nouet
Nose: Sweet. Oaky. Exotic wood, more precisely sandalwood. Then creamy aromas swirl up. Vanilla custard. Followed by floral notes. Turkish delight. Touch of parma violet. An elegant and charming display.
Palate: Sweet at first then drying on oaky notes with some astringency. Peppery. Rye flavours. Oak speaks on a more assertive tone than on the nose. Still some Turkish delight but spiced up!
Finish: Dry, spicy and slightly nutty.
Comment: An enticing nose, a rather austere palate. A Bourbon without the usual sweetness? Why not?
