Tasting notes
Taster   Gavin D. Smith
Nose: A most unusual, high, furniture polish and spirity nose. Acetone and meths, yet not unattractive.
Palate: Oily, with dark berries and malt.
Finish: Quite short and nutty. Lingering vanilla behind oak.
Comment: A curious beast, indeed.
7.5
Taster   Dave Broom
Nose: Edgy and slightly metallic. Seems young; green walnut, unripe fruits. Slightly sweeter with water, but still hard overall.
Palate: Some daffodil-like floral aromas. Light pear, but very thin with water.
Finish: Sudden. Dry and hollow.
Comment: This metallic edge suggests the use of young grain that hasn't matured out fully.
