Tasting notes
Taster   Peter Mulryan
Nose: Pot still and candied peel.
Palate: An almost too subtle combination of dry biscuits and lush sherry. The pot still is a bit too well behaved for my liking.
Finish: Malted milk drink for adults.
Comment: A very decent and reserved blend that is simply overshadowed and outclassed by the 12 Years Old.

Taster   Dave Broom
Nose: Has complexity and maturity. Full pot still weight, lush and oily with rye, stewed apple, malt loaf, burnt raisin, cooked pear, vanilla pod, dubbin, cocoa.
Palate: Slides into the mouth. A good firm structure with light wood then semi-dried fruits and peels.
Finish: Refreshingly crisp. Big and fruity.
Comment: Big-boned, but the most restrained of the big boys.
