Tasting notes
Taster   Martine Nouet
Nose: Intense. Malty and grassy. Dried grass. With an animal touch. Sheepskin maybe. Then shifting to bakery aromas. Almond and pear tart.
Palate: Gently flowing. Rich, oily. Sweet luscious bakery flavours.
Finish: Fruity (summer fruit).
Comment: A very appetising dram. More complex than it seems. Needs time to reveal all its richness.

Taster   Dave Broom
Nose: Clootie dumpling [suet, masses of dried peels, allspice]. Little woody with water which also brings out bracken, malt.
Palate: Date loaf, light oiliness, bere meal, oaky. Slightly flat.
Finish: Sweet fruits.
Comment: There's lots of elements at play here. They're just not playing together.
