Tasting notes

Taster Dominic Roskrow

Nose: Grape, raisin, marmalade. Restrained.
Palate: Honey and orange, sweet spice, and then wood.
Finish: Long and tangy.
Comment: Hold its own in strong company.

Taster Dave Broom

Nose: Candy floss and baked banana. Quite scented. Lighter than most here. Slightly distant.
Palate: Tannins a plenty. Firm grip and big alcohol. The lighter flavours takes it into Cognac like territory of grilled nuts and spice with some tomato leaf underneath.
Finish: Becomes richer, sweeter and riper.
Comment: Out on its own. More finesse but less power.
