Tasting notes
Taster   Arthur Motley
Nose: Malty.
Palate: Basically sweet with acacia honey, custard crèmes and a little candied nuts. Syrupy exotic fruit and caramel too, like fairground toffee apples. A macaroon biscuit.
Finish: Caramel.
Comment: Balanced and pleasant.
7.8
Taster   Dave Broom
Nose: Hunter Valley Semillon. Green, grassy slightly stony. Then there's pineapple, tinned pear and becomes increasingly sweet.
Palate: The pears are to the fore for me. Marzipan/amaretto.
Finish: Very gentle.
Comment: A decent drink, but the port finish is the winner out of the trio.
