Tasting notes
Taster   Mark Newton
Nose: Attractive. Straw and barley. Chardonnay. Then melon and pineapple. Dried hops, chaff-like. Milk chocolate. Tangerines. Lovely mustiness.
Palate: Brash vanilla sweetness balanced with tart fruits and savoury spice. Blackberries, raspberry jam, malted milk biscuits, sweet chilli sauce, blood oranges, grapefruit juice and bitter chocolate.
Finish: Peppery. Tart fruit and sweet chilli heat, fading to digestive biscuits.
Comment: Audacious blending – succulent too. I’d drink this on tap.

Taster   Laura Foster
Nose: Nutty – specifically pecans, almonds, hazelnuts, Crunchy Nut Cornflakes and All Bran. Redcurrants, raspberries and pencil shavings also muddle along in there.
Palate: The ABV carries some punchy, delicious flavours along in a lovely chewy texture. Hazelnut praline Belgian chocolate seashells mix with green hops. Sounds strange, but is incredibly beguiling.
Finish: That praline keeps on going. Guyliaaaaaaaaaaan…
Comment: Big and beautiful.
