Tasting notes
Taster   Rob Allanson
Nose: Deep and rich.Layers of leather and cigar boxes. There are soft red fruits and a little nuttiness.
Palate: Very laid back and takes its time to grip the palate. Oak is dominant then the rye takes over. Citrus and shades of dark coconut chocolate.
Finish: Long and lush. Very morish.
Comment: A perfect example of what an aged rye should offer.

Taster   Dave Broom
Nose: Shows maturity the more overt rye notes hidden behind rich leather/cedar wood with some red and black cherry/maraschino and a little chestnut. Light spice.
Palate: Big oak notes. Mellow and soft to start but once again the rye kicks in. Orange peel. Firmer grip. Not great with water.
Finish: The rye waits till very late on to kick the door down. All packed in here.
Comment: One for a cigar and a long conversation.
