Tasting notes

Taster Dave Broom

Nose: At the higher, scented end of the spectrum: lemon balm, sweet candy, caramelised fruit, fig, dry spices, vanilla.
Palate: Spicy. Nutmeg, apple sponge, red berry fruits, light syrup.
Finish: Soft, then a space dust barrage of spices.
Comment: Subtle and well-made.

Taster Michael Jackson

Nose: Very light. Decidedly sweet, honeyish, spiciness.
Palate: Smooth. Quite rich. Malty. Brown sugar. Spicy. Cinnamon. American-style apple pie.
Finish: Lightly gingery. Crisp.
Comment: Less characterful than the Virginia Gentleman I remember, but still quite distinctive.
