Tasting notes
Taster   Rob Allanson
Nose: Floor polish and painted wood. Milk chocolate and a sweet hay briar note.
Palate: Quite big with loads of malt and just a gentle hint of menthol. There is an aniseed quality too.
Finish: Full of spices.
Comment: A well made whisky that shows balance.
Taster   Martine Nouet
Nose: Perfumy. Vétiver, aniseed. Varnish, fresh paint. Opens up milk chocolate with raisins. A warm note of dry hay.
Palate: Round, smooth. Velvety. The malty sweetness is balanced by a minty character.
Finish: Spicy. Ginger.
Comment: A well knitted whisky. With a good malty presence on the nose as on the palate. Interesting.
