Tasting notes
Taster   Rob Allanson
Nose: Peaty at first. Warmed tyres. A touch of wet dog by the sea. Sharp citrus fruits and some sweetness.
Palate: That sweet smoke revealed a sharp spiced edge. Lemon drops and a chillitang dry the mouth.
Finish: Fizzy and reviving.
Comment: A great restorative dram that gives you what it says it will.

Taster   Martine Nouet
Nose: Smoky. Phenolic. Creosote. Rain on a bonfire by the shore. Farm yard. Acitrussy note. Grapefruit juice.
Palate: Sweet and gently flowing. Wild silk. The smoky and peaty flavours unwind elegantly, mingling with lemon pulp and cereals.
Finish: Sherbety, tingling and lively.
Comment: An enticing islander. A dash of water gives a velvety feel but in the same time, enhances the sootiness, hence a dusty feel on the tongue.
