Tasting notes
Taster   Dave Broom
Nose: Barley/combine harvester with some green leaf/grassiness and ayouthfulness that's somewhat like tequila/thinned agave syrup. Withwater, there's white peach and a little Plado.
Palate: Soft, juicy pear then a tingle of sugar cut with mace.
Finish: Sweet. Medium length.
Comment: Has substance but light enough to make a fine aperitif/Highball.
7.9
Taster   Martine Nouet
Nose: Shy, light. Slightly cardboardy. Grassy. Lemon balm, angelica. Dry hay. Touch of honey.
Palate: Sweet, smooth. Almost syrupy. Herbal tea. Aniseed and mint. Refreshing. The cardboardy note is present. Pear eaude- vie. Also a touch of plum stone.
Finish: Short, gently fizzy.
Comment: Not an unpleasant dram but it has matured in a tired cask and hasretained its new-make character. Disappointing for a 13 Years Old.
