Tasting notes
Taster   Martine Nouet
Nose: Rich. Fruity. Orange curd. Lots of honey. A sweet grassy note. Vanilla comes through with creamy aromas. Orange blossom too.
Palate: Silky, charming. Very refreshing minty/aniseed notes. Pear drop. Then exotic fruit. Pineapple and mango.
Finish: Clean, lasting. Lusciously fizzy, with more orange and candied ginger.
Comment: A lovely whispering whisky. Lively and refreshing. Does not need water, just a little time to mellow.
8.5
Taster   Dave Broom
Nose: Floral. Lifted, pollen and rain-sodden blossoms. Lily of the valley, old perfume and with water a delicious touch of raspberry (fruit and leaf).
Palate: Sweet start. Custard on a frangipan tart. Still floral and scented, but with enough energy to carry. Water adds fruit, ending with trifle and kiwi fruit.
Finish: Gentle and clean.
Comment: A wee charmer.
