Tasting notes
Taster   Dave Broom
Nose: Smoky and marine: oyster liquor and smoke from a tarry BBQ with rosemary thrown onto the embers. Clean, dry and quite punchy, but at the same time controlled. Carbolic and iodine emerges with water.
Palate: Dry (oatcake and peat dust) then loosens into the briny seafood note of seaweed. Very clean and bright.
Finish: Light and oily.
Comment: Balanced yet assertive.

Taster   Martine Nouet
Nose: Peaty. Creosote, smoke, soot. Peatreek infused. On time, a citrus note. But not much more. It is very pale in colour. Lemon drop. A touch of water melon.
Palate: A smoke and soot invasion. Charcoal. Barbecued sardines.
Finish: Dry, smoky. Slightly numbing.
Comment: Could be the perfect wake up for campers drenched to the skin on a Summer's day on the west coast of Scotland!
