Tasting notes
Taster   Rob Allanson
Nose: Pear drops, rhubarb and custard crumble, damp wool, orange marmalade, corn on the cob with butter.
Palate: A light cigar note, orange zest, lemon sorbet, Belgian waffles.
Finish: Crisp and fizzy.
Comment: A decent restorative dram.
Taster   Martine Nouet
Nose: Grassy. Somewhat harsh. Not much expression of maturation. The colour is very pale for a 12 Year Old whisky. A citrussy hint. Yeasty.
Palate: Sweet and fresh. More fruit than on the nose. Ripe pear, lemonade. Sherbety.
Finish: Dry and short. Ginger ale.
Comment: A pleasant refreshing feel on the palate but a thin aromatic profile.
