Tasting notes
Taster   Rob Allanson
Nose: Smoked salmon and burning wood. Toffee and cream notes too. Verygentle layers of spice.
Palate: The peat gives way to soft fruit and delicious spices, sweet pears in brandy.
Finish: Dries on gentle smoke.
Comment: Does what it says on the tin, but not really that one dimensional.
8.3
Taster   Dave Broom
Nose: Slightly metallic and unformed. Light walnut cake. Toasted oatmeal, hazelnut and a whiff of cigar smoke.
Palate: Clean and quite light. Here, the cereal note here has gone into honey nut cornflakes.
Finish: Sugary. Then soft smoke.
Comment: If it's a chimney it's one above a sweet shop.
