Tasting notes
Taster   Arthur Motley
Nose: Freshly cut apples, white pepper, orange sorbet, blackberry jam, and cold roast lamb.
Palate: Berry fruits, dark chocolate sauce and then a dryish harissa spice.
Finish: Some spicy woodsmoke.
Comment: Unusual, and composed of many distinct elements that mesh well.
8.5
Taster   Dave Broom
Nose: Initially there's damp earth in the late summer. Wet cut grass, macadamia, Weetabix sprinkled with sugar, tangerine. Slightly musty.
Palate: Ripe/baked summer fruits baked. The oak sits on top of some crispbread, toffee and melting chocolate.
Finish: Nutmeg and cinnamon, digestive biscuit and light smoke.
Comment: Best neat.
