Tasting notes
Taster   Dave Broom
Nose: Smoky, fungal, wet socks, even moist face flannel along with biscuit andBran Flakes.
Palate: Dry and slightly closed to start but as it doesn't like water, give it time todevelop when out comes roasted nuts and toffee-ed sweetness whichbalances the big smoke.
Finish: Clean and smoky.
Comment: Well put together.

Taster   Martine Nouet
Nose: Peaty, with a distinct cheesy nose. Applewood smoke cheese. Meaty also.
Palate: Sweet, malty. Then the smoke (still smoked cheese) takes the control. Oily, quite thick. A fresh whiff mint.
Finish: Dry, nearly sooty but not yet.
Comment: Unusual peaty character. This cheesy note (not a butyric one) annoyed mebut there is some balance in the malty sweetness.
