Tasting notes
Taster   Becky Paskin
Nose: Teatime in the 1980s, all tinned peaches in syrup, cooked pineapple rings, vanilla whip and hot buttered toast. A hint of green banana.
Palate: Intensely fruity and syrupy with a crunchy, malty and slightly sour undertone. Shreddies topped with peach yoghurt and gooey, overripe banana.
Finish: Things dry out a little, though that yummy tinned fruit lingers.
Comment: A well-integrated, fruity and complex blend. Just leave me the bottle.

Taster   Rob Allanson
Nose: Cream scones with strawberry jam, egg custard pies with nutmeg topping. The sweetness of chocolate on digestive biscuits and marshmallows too.
Palate: Fruit trifle, from the chocolate buttons and sugar candies on top to the sherry-soaked iced fingers and everything in between. Chocolate-coated flapjacks with caramel.
Finish: Takes its time and eventually leaves the fruit and chocolate behind with some spice.
Comment: An alcoholic fruit salad – what can be wrong with that?
