Tasting notes
Taster   Dave Broom
Nose: Initially, it's grass, light chalk dust then some cream. As it opens out comesblossom, banana and cinnamon.
Palate: Decent weight and suppleness with just sufficient spiciness, ginger especially, to balance those opulent fruit notes.
Finish: Apricot.
Comment: Another deliciously drinkable dram from an increasingly impressive bottler.
7.9
Taster   Martine Nouet
Nose: Fruity and malty. Apple jelly. Barley sugar. Golden syrup. Appetising. Like walking in a Norman orchard in autumn when the crop of apples are being picked.
Palate: Smooth and round. The same apple character. Sweet and balanced. Dry spices (allspice and ground ginger).
Finish: Sweet, drying on liquorice root notes. Rather short.
Comment: A pleasant whisky, definitely autumnal and uplifting.
