Tasting notes

Taster Annabel Meikle

Nose: Perfumed and fragrant wood polished with beeswax polish. Orange cheesecake and mint choc chip ice cream.
Palate: Lighter than the nose suggests with golden sultanas and yellow plum. Malty flapjack studded with date and fig.
Finish: Rounded, fat and juicy.
Comment: The nose promised a little more than the palate.

Taster Joel Harrison

Nose: Cardboard, leather horse saddles, damp grass and raw ginger.
Palate: Better on the palate, it's like an Old Tom whisky with some Juicy Fruit, tobacco, and strawberry juice with cream.
Finish: Strawberries and cream, this is surprisingly sweet.
Comment: Gives sweet tones and probably would go down well doused with ice.
