Tasting notes
Taster   Martine Nouet
Nose: Malty and fruity. Muësli. Lemon drops. Candyfloss. Poached rhubarb. Opens on herbal notes. Verbena, green tea.
Palate: Silky, gently flowing on the tongue. Lovely fresh feel. Light fruit. Hint of tangerine juice and pineapple juice. And possibly guava.
Finish: Delicate but reasonably long. Herbal notes.
Comment: Another well knitted dram. Obviously under bourbon influence. The exotic hint is 'gourmande'
7.8
Taster   Dave Broom
Nose: Clean and lifted. Old orange peel, geranium, custard then sesame and dried mango. Slightly too edgy oak.
Palate: More impact than you expect. Soft feel, fresh pineapple, cherry, light spice.
Finish: Clean quite short.
Comment: There's a restrained quality about all of these. Amusing lunchtime companions.
