Tasting notes

Taster Christopher Coates

Nose: Stunning mango and papaya, blackcurrant chews, dark fruits. Black forest gateau and sweet milk chocolate. Vanilla cream, deep cedarwood notes, a hint of rich balsamic.
Palate: Heavy bodied, with an unctuous texture. Ginger, fresh jalapeño, caraway seeds. The sweet notes run the gamut from candy corn and Tootsie roll to honeycomb.
Finish: Medium length. Slightly numbing, sap-like medicinal notes.
Comment: A multi-faceted range of flavours which you need to take the time to discover.

Taster Phoebe Calver

Nose: A genuinely lovely start with buttery brioche buns and then marzipan fruit cake icing, followed by a hint of prickly sweet ginger spice.
Palate: More of that buttery goodness here, with rich and thick toffee sauce poured over the top of mint choc chip ice cream and a solid helping of rye spice.
Finish: A hint of tropical fruit and rye spice lingers on the medium-length finish.
Comment: This has a fair old punch of spicy personality – it’s fun and has a lot of character.
