Tasting notes
Taster   Alwynne Gwilt
Nose: Raspberries and something akin to chlorine – not unpleasant just hard to peg. In fact, quite attractive. Chambord and oak notes too.
Palate: Like a fruit salad sweetie in the mouth along with some liquorice, rhubarb and ginger, cream soda and dry smoke. Bold and unusual but really like it.
Finish: Slightly drying, with notes of butternut squash and ginger ale.
Comment: Again, one that was intriguing but not so out of reach that it wouldn’t be appealing. My brain was going a mile a minute as I tasted this. Well worth it.

Taster   Chris Goodrum
Nose: Big, fat corn and big, fat, buttery oak! The oak is pleasantly fragrant and very silky. Beneath is a little spice and saline-like notes but you have to dig deep to find them!
Palate: Full and generously endowed in the oak department! Straightforward stuff with a touch of corn. Given the mountain of oak it begins to bitter on the middle.
Finish: Long and corny with hints of herbal marc, which indicates its relative youth. Dry, bitter chocolate after-taste.
Comment: If you like it fat and simple, then this is right up your street
