Tasting notes
Taster   Dave Broom
Nose: Closed then wine gum, raspberry, briary fruits. Becomes big and generous with coffee, rum and raisin. Mature. Raisin and light smoke.
Palate: Grippy, tea-like start then Oloroso sweetness. Teasing smoke, perfumed (lavender bags) then dark dusty black fruits. Good weight.
Finish: Ripe. Coconut.
Comment: A big broad, spicy number typical of the house style.

Taster   Martine Nouet
Nose: Sweet. Floral. Refreshing. Touch of acacia. Sawdust. Marshmallow. Quite slow to open up.
Palate: Smooth and creamy. Nutty. Almond. Raisins. Fudge.
Finish: Lingering. Dry, slightly astringent.
Comment: A well balanced dram. Rather shy and restrained at start but with time and a drop of water, becomes more attractive.
