Tasting notes
Taster   Martine Nouet
Nose: Sweet. Elegant. Bourboney. Buttery. Toffee. Cappuccino. Barley sugar. Lemongrass. Star anise. Forest bouquet. Dried leaves, touch of mushroom.
Palate: Round and mellow. Clean and fresh. Candied quince. Honeyed apples. Fruit and nut chocolate.
Finish: Lingering on liquorice. Ginger root.
Comment: Heavier than the 21 Years Old due to its sweetness. But harmonious and elegant.

Taster   Dave Broom
Nose: Unctuous. PX/Bristol milk. Walnut, raisin. Very sweet and soft. Moscatel and heathery smoke.
Palate: Mouth coating and soft then the grip of oak. Has a mature character giving it an extra dimension.
Finish: The dry oak lessens and out comes rich sherried flavours.
Comment: Like all old whiskies everything is delivered on the finish.
