Tasting notes
Taster   Martine Nouet
Nose: Resiny at start. Old furniture. Beeswax. Floral. Pear drop with a hint of nail polish.
Palate: Smooth, velvety. Sherried. Fruit. Stewed plums. Marmalade. A touch of milk chocolate.
Finish: Long and delicate, full of charm with a lively fresh oak touch. Appetising gingery dryness.
Comment: Well-balanced and luscious. Keeps talking if you let it breathe. A blend of distinction.

Taster   Dave Broom
Nose: Liquorous. Peach syrup, butterscotch. Liqueur chocolate, orange chocolate truffle. Lingering and rich with notes of black forest gateau.
Palate: Very full and thick. Covers the tongue. Pastille like black fruits. Liquorous. Raisin, sticky toffee pudding, molasses, demerara sugar. Mellow.
Finish: Rich, raisined fruits. The chocolate.
Comment: One for people who like 'em big boned.
