Tasting notes
Taster   Dave Broom
Nose: Clover honey, vanilla, cooked pear moving into caramelised fruits and peat smoke balanced by toasty oak. There's some very old whiskies in here.
Palate: Sweet and \"sherried\", but with good grip. Ripe. Balanced between sweetness, richness, oak, fruit and spice.
Finish: Long and ripe.
Comment: This is great blending. Top flight stuff.

Taster   Martine Nouet
Nose: Rich and sherried. Antique shop. Cigar box. Meaty. Oxtail. Bacon. Cedar. Tarte Tatin.
Palate: Syrupy. Mouth-coating. A beautiful harmony between oak and fruit. Praline. Baked apple in maple syrup. Sweetness prevails.
Finish: Sweet. oak, spices try to calm it down.
Comment: Quite an assertive blend. The nose delivers to the palate but it tastes older than 15 years.
