Tasting notes
Taster   Dave Broom
Nose: Heavy and concentrated with layers of aroma. Sherry (raisin, Dundee cake) and smoke, but also a moist coconutty edge. Cooked black fruits. Rich.
Palate: Drier than you expect with plenty of peat. Leather, burning heather, antique shop. Old style.
Finish: Dried fruits.
Comment: Firmer and smokier than the 15.

Taster   Martine Nouet
Nose: Floral. Fading roses. Almond. Sandalwood. Touch of curry - reminded me of opening the door of an Indian restaurant. Distant echo of smoke.
Palate: Soft. Watery. Light oak and not much more.
Finish: Not so short though. Slightly oaky. Drying on soft spices.
Comment: The nose lets us expect some exotic promises. Did too much dilution blow all that galore off? Disappointing.
