Tasting notes
Taster   Michael Jackson
Nose: Fruity and toffeeish. Polished oak.
Palate: Lighter-bodied than the full colour might suggest, but firm and textured.
Finish: Hint of char. Firm and clinging.
Comment: A bourbon of some presence and elegance. With dessert, or after dinner?
8.0
Taster   Jim Murray
Nose: Toast and marmalade with coffee.
Palate: Dry and spicy start. The oak is pierced by a decent corn richness that hangs on the oily middle.
Finish: Remains vanilla-rich and oaky.
Comment: A busy, beautifully constituted bourbon that gracefully defies the years.
