Tasting notes
Taster   Dave Broom
Nose: Exotic, suggestive of Japan. Resin, sap and sandalwood. Black banana, dry roasted spices/ white pepper/black cardamom and a hit of pomegranatemolasses. Complex and multifaceted.
Palate: That mix of brininess, lanolin plus very pure fruits and added exotic spice (nutmeg especially). Then,in themiddle of mouth,a peat bomb adding another layer of flavour.
Finish: Long,complex.
Comment: Powerful yet elegant. A yokozuna of malt whisky.

Taster   Martine Nouet
Nose: Cheesy, rancid at start. Like entering a dairy after it has been washed. When aerated, opens on a floral note.Narcisses maybe. Liquorice.
Palate: Sweet then abruptly fizzy and tangy. Numbing the tongue. But mouthcoating and deliveringpleasant cooked fruit. Water enhances the spicy feel.
Finish: Warm, fizzy. Leaves the mouth dry.
Comment: A bit too broad shouldered. Does not seem to mellow with water. Some nice sides though.
