Tasting notes
Taster   Michael Jackson
Nose: Classic Islay peatiness. Spicy. Fragrant. Sea air.
Palate: Dusty. Earthy. Iron-ish. The flavours of a dunnage warehouse.
Finish: Sea spray. Wet earth. Seaweed.
Comment: Less boisterous than The Young One. The calm of maturity permits all the nuances to be experienced.

Taster   Dave Broom
Nose: Fragrant and smoked. Coal bunkers and rose bushes. Perfumed wood, apple loft, peat smoke in background, antiseptic, coal tar.
Palate: Dry, firm. Sweet oak and a burst of smoke. Timbers on a beach. Marine notes. Seashells. Great flowing feel.
Finish: Mixing sweet and dry.
Comment: A classic Ardbeg.
