Nose: Creamy oak. Hint of sulphur alongside bonfire smoke, fish smokehouse and fishing nets.
Palate: Clean and balanced. Tinned fruits and hot-smoked salmon. Quite oily in feel.
Finish: Dry. Driftwood. Smoke.
Comment: A very good introduction to Caol Ila.
