Tasting notes
Taster   Rob Allanson
Nose: Back in the humidor again, drying leaves, tobacco smoke. A little candlewax. Some floral and fruit notes too.
Palate: Almost smoked applewood cheese. Oak is here and dries things out a little.Gentle spices warm the mouth.
Finish: Drying with spices.
Comment: A great autumnal whisky, mirrors the season.

Taster   Martine Nouet
Nose: Oaky. Damp wood. An earthy note. Like walking by a heap of apples in aNorman orchard on a drecht September day. A distant note of dying bonfire. On time, a more appealing floral note. Marshmallow.
Palate: Quite smooth at first then tightening on an astringent feel and flavour. Oak and dried apple. Dusty spices in the back.
Finish: Dry, dusty and spicy.
Comment: A dour character which lifts up on the nose but not on the palate.
