Tasting notes
Taster   Rob Allanson
Nose: Like standing at the harbour's edge. Has a smoky and medicinal quality butsome soft fruit is here.
Palate: That coal tar soap edge cuts through the spices. Malty notes pervade andthat sweet fruit note comes through.
Finish: Smoked and short.
Comment: Should please the Islay fans, has all the right pieces in the right place.

Taster   Martine Nouet
Nose: Grassy. Drying hay with a musty hint. Running honey. Distant smoke. Intime, creosote aromas fill the glass. The kiln the day after.
Palate: Sweet and silky. A caressing feel. The same grassy profile. Cereal, vanilla and can be a bit fizzy.
Finish: Grassy with a smoky aftertaste.
Comment: A young Ileach, close to the new make. The cask has not imparted much. But a clean dram. Refreshing and tonic.
