Taster   Martine Nouet
Nose: Fragrant. Herbal. Lemon balm. Lime and ginger herbal tea. Nicely prickly. A marine scent, like walking through adune on a warm day.Touch of creosote.
Palate: Oily. Sweet at start, then a spice burst in a whiff of smoke. Minty,Refreshing. Hint of bog myrtle.
Finish: Dry, tickling, spicy. Garden mint.
Comment: Awake up dram. Fresh, vibrant, wide open on the sea horizon. Bring bacon and eggs.

Nose: Lightly smoked kippers with a dash of lemon juice.
Palate: Smoke and spice, but with an acerbic wet wood note and olive oil.
Finish: Savoury,spicy and reasonably long.
Comment: Unusual take on a peaty theme, but it works well.
