Taster
Nose: Hazelnuts. The skin of the nut. Papery. Toasty.
Palate: Smooth as polished oak. Treacle-toffee. Walnuts.
Finish: Sappy. Slightly sour.
Comment: Enough character and complexity to withstand the heavy oakiness, but beginning to show its age.
Score: 8
