Nose: Light sea-breeze. Touch of wet cardboard. Pine needle. Milk chocolate. Honey. Apricot jam. Cider apples. Develops on soft creamy aromas.

Palate: Very sweet and smooth. Pears poached in spices. Marzipan. Caramelised apples.

Finish: Spicy, weakening steadily. Toasted almonds. Nutty.

Comment: An attractive character. Too much sweetness on the palate though.

Taster

Nose: Gentle and rounded. New pigskin leather, dried flower. Moves into passion fruit, creamy toffee, ginger, ripe stone fruits and some light oak.

Palate: Good concentration: crisp cereal then runny chocolate and hazelnut, spices yet sweet and very soft.

Finish: Quite short, clean, spicy.

Comment: Just a tiny splash of water is needed. A lovely drink.
