Nose: Grassy. Dried herbs but with a hint of humidity. Star anis. Vanilla creeps in. Touch of sugar candy. Boiled celery.

Palate: Sweet then abruptly bitter. The same grassiness as on the nose; aniseed, mint and a hint of almond skin.

Finish: Bitter,acrid.

Comment: The grassy profile of this whisky is too much.

Palate: Luscious,lightly creamy with creme brulee,prunes,dry oak,malty and butterscotch nuances appearing on a\rwave of flavour,underlined by toasty oakeyness.

Comment: Enjoyable individual details add up to form a harmonious package.
