Taster

Nose: Chinese takeaway wrapper. Stewed vegetables. With time cocoa and\rbiscuit notes.

Palate: Definitely up a notch or two from the nose. Tinned fruits in syrup. Sweet\rand full with soft pear and a dusting of spice.

Finish: Quite long and definitely pleasant. A whisky which grows as it goes.

Comment: Not spectacular but a solid and enjoyable malt and a pleasant\rambassador for a distillery which rarely gets the limelight.

Taster

Nose: Lots of Dundee (thick-cut) marmalade mixed with gold syrup, coconut and\rwood shavings. Water takes it into nougat territory along with a little\rtreacle, apple and malt loaf.

Palate: As nose, with some peach, jasmine to start before it deepens into lilac, nut\rand raisin.

Finish: Spicy and clean.

Comment: Good, just lacking the extra layers which produce complexity.
